There are a few things you can try if iTunes doesn't recognize your iPad:
Make sure that your iPad is unlocked and trust the computer you are trying to connect to.
Make sure that you have the latest version of iTunes installed on your computer.
Restart your computer and iPad.
Check the USB cable and make sure it is securely connected to both your computer and your iPad. Try a different USB cable if you have one available.
If you have a Mac, try connecting your iPad to a different USB port on your computer.
If you have a Windows PC, make sure that the Apple Mobile Device USB Driver is installed and up to date. To do this, open Device Manager and expand the "Universal Serial Bus controllers" section. Look for "Apple Mobile Device USB Driver." If it is not there, try uninstalling and reinstalling iTunes.
If none of the above solutions work, try resetting your iPad. To do this, go to Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Settings.
If none of these solutions work, it is possible that there is an issue with the iPad itself. In that case, you may need to contact Apple support for further assistance.
