I just want to put a disclaimer here and let you know that this Channel is NOT made for kids! I am also not a professional this is just our personal experiences that we want to share with you. This video includes footage examples. In today’s video we go through Early Autism signs/traits that we saw in our daughter Charlotte that ultimately led us to getting her assessed for Autism Spectrum Disorder. Please note every child on the spectrum is different, if you are concerned about your child please take them to your local clinic or paediatrician to express your concerns. Hey, guys, and welcome to our towel. For those of you who don't know me, my name is Brianna and Adam and I have two beautiful children, William and Charlotte. Adam is on the autism spectrum. And he also has ADHD. And he's only recently been diagnosed with autism. So it was missed in him as a child. And we have William, who is four. And he is also on the autism spectrum level two, and he's recently been diagnosed with ADHD. And we also have Charlotte, who is our beautiful little two year old and she has just been diagnosed on the autism spectrum as well. But she's been diagnosed level two and level three. And level three is the more severe side of the spectrum, which means she's going to be requiring a lot more support in certain areas compared to her brother. So shouts diagnosis honestly shocked us like we didn't think we thought that there were some aspects that she was on the spectrum, but we really didn't think it was that severe. It's been a challenging journey to get to this point to get her the diagnosis. It's a lot harder to diagnose girls and all that. That's what we've been told. And it's good to know that she's been diagnosed this early because now we can get the supports and put early intervention and things like that into place to help her manage and learn the skills that she needs to learn growing up with just that little bit of extra support. But obviously, being level three, she's going to require a lot more support than her brother does on our channel, you will find flogs and Day in the Life videos on our journey as an autism family. If this is something you might be interested in, I would love for you to subscribe and join our little community here on YouTube. Before we found out about our son being on the spectrum, we knew nothing about autism. And I feel like my knowledge has grown so much in this last 18 months to two years on autism and ADHD and a number of different things that we have been experiencing as a family. So we want to share that with you. And we want to, I guess, help you not feel as alone in this journey as well. If you're going through a similar journey yourself with your children or your yourself because obviously Adams on the spectrum as well, being an adult diagnosed later in life has been challenging for him. Yeah, we would love for you to connect with us and feel that you can reach out to us and ask us questions. And we can connect with you as well. I hope that by sharing Day in the Life videos and sharing our family's journey along this road, is able to help others feel not as alone in this journey as we did when we first began this process. And I really do hope that through sharing videos like this, we can create a more inclusive society for people with special needs, and that they can not feel as ostracized or different in today's day and age. And I know 30 years ago, it would have been very different because there wasn't as much known, but there is so much more known these days. And I really do hope that for our kids and for everyone else that is on the spectrum or has additional needs can feel so much more accepted into society than then they have done in the past. I just want to stress as well that I'm not a specialist. I'm not a doctor, I don't have any qualifications. In any of this. It's just simply our own opinion and experiences as a family with kids and a husband on the autism spectrum. So it's Yeah, it's it's what we say it's what we've learned. And it's what our kids are going through. I also want to stress to you as well, everyone on the autism spectrum is different. That's why they call it a spectrum. Everyone has different signs and triggers and things like that as well. And it is such a diverse like, it's so broad. Today's video is just a video that shows signs and symptoms or things that we saw in our daughter that made us seek out advice from a pediatrician. Obviously, the sooner that you get the diagnosis, the better it is. And the more chance your child has to develop and learn things a lot quicker than they would if they were an older child is just things that we saw in Charlotte from I think she was of age between 12 months and two years that we noticed, I don't want you to look at this video and think, Oh my gosh, my child's doing that they must have autism. It's not what this video is intended for. I want you to take this video and look at it and say, Are my child's doing that or just think about different milestones. If your child's not meeting certain milestones and you are a bit concerned? Please do go and see your specialist or see a pediatrician and express your concerns the process for us. I'm not sure if you watched my last video, I'll link it down below. It was the diagnosis process for Charlotte. So part of that assessment was to send through a video or photos of anything that Charlotte was doing that we thought were a bit off. So I put together this little video that you're about to see these are just signs and symptoms that we saw. And like I said, I'm not a professional, but this is our experience as a family and I hope this helps you and if you are concerned please do go and speak to your pediatrician or your doctor your GP and get some advice on what to do and what they think based on the findings that they see on Your child, but I hope you enjoy this video. And like I said, if this is the journey you're on at the moment, I would love for you to subscribe to our channel so you can stay up to date with us. And if you have any questions or anything like that, please put them in the comments below. If you're concerned at all, just go and see your pediatrician and take it from there. But thank you for clicking on this video. Let me know a little bit about you and your family. And in the comments below. I'd love to connect with you. And like I said, if you're not subscribed, I would love for you to join our little community here. So don't forget to click the big red subscribe button, but I'm gonna go now and let you get into the video.

I just want to jump on here at the end and say thank you so much for watching, I hope you found this video informative and if you do, like I said have any concerns from watching this video about your own child, please do make sure that you seek out some medical advice from your pediatrician or a speech therapist or an OT call up your local clinic and have them review your child and do keep track of your children and if they're meeting their milestones and things like that as well. It's really important to stay on top of that. I hope you've enjoyed this video and I'm going to go I will see you guys in my next video. And don't forget if you are interested in seeing the assessment process that we do with Charlotte. Please don't forget to click on the link below. I will link that video so you can see how she was assessed via a telehealth zoom session. But I'm going to go and I hope you enjoy the rest of your day. I will catch you later. Bye
